Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestling Coaches Scholarship

The MOAC Wrestling Coaches Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity organized for the sole purpose of raising funds to be distributed as scholarships to senior wrestlers from Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference schools.  As such, any donations to the scholarship fund are tax-exempt for the donor, and if you donate to the scholarship fund you will be provided a receipt on request for your tax records.  The Federal tax ID number for the scholarship fund is 26-0358391.  Here is the letter from the IRS granting us tax exemption, retroactive to October 2007:  IRS Letter

The primary means of raising money for the scholarship is a youth/junior high open wrestling tournament on the day after the MOAC varsity wrestling championships, at the same site.  This tournament is called the MOAC Challenge.  Details of the 2014 tournament, including the tournament flyer, will be posted here as soon as a contract is signed with the host school and the flyer has been approved by the coaches.

Eight scholarships have been awarded so far, consisting of $1000 each, one each in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011, then two in 2012:

2008:  Adam Dillion, Highland

2009:  Austin Kucera, Highland

2010:  Nathan Alexander, Pleasant

2011:  Tyler Heminger, Northmor

2012:  Josh Alexander, Pleasant, and Jonathan McClenathan, Cardington-Lincoln
